Die E3 kehrt in diesem Jahr als virtueller Event zurück - verspreche mir davon zwar nicht all zu viel, hoffe aber schwer, dass die Streams einigermassen geordnet sein werden und nicht alles zur gleichen Zeit stattfindet. Klar - kann man sich im Anschluss daran immer noch in Ruhe geben, aber trotzdem.

Developers will be showcasing their latest news and games directly to fans around the world. The ESA will be working with media partners globally to help amplify and make this content available to everyone for free.

 

“For more than two decades, E3 has been the premier venue to showcase the best that the video game industry has to offer, while uniting the world through games,” said Stanley Pierre-Louis, President & CEO of the ESA. “We are evolving this year’s E3 into a more inclusive event, but will still look to excite the fans with major reveals and insider opportunities that make this event the indispensable center stage for video games.”

 

While maintaining E3’s longstanding position as a central destination for industry networking — where new partnerships and connections between video game publishers, developers and media are made — the digital format for E3 2021 means more people than ever can participate.

Darüber hinaus hoffe ich, dass massig neues Current-Gen-Futter gezeigt wird - und zwar Futter, dass auch die Grafikkapazitäten der neuen Systeme endlich mal richtig nutzt. Bislang waren solche Titel relativ rar gesät. Persönlich zähle ich also fix darauf, dass Guerrilla Horizon II: Forbidden West endlich mit Gameplay enthüllt und dass es optisch alles bisher dagewesene wegbomben wird.

Ich werd sicherlich nebenbei etwas reinschauen, aber die E3 ist eher uninteressant geworden für mich.

Ja sie ist - digital hin oder her - wirklich nicht mehr das, was sie mal war... hat ziemlich abgegeben. Aber trotzdem... wäre schön, wenn's in der Woche vor Ankündigungen nur so kracht und nicht all zu viel vorab geleakt wird.

• Saturday, June 12, broadcast pre-show starts at 10am PT / 1pm ET
  •        E3 2021 will kick off with press conferences from Ubisoft and Gearbox Entertainment, as well as a session with GamesBeat.

 

• Sunday, June 13, broadcast pre-show starts at 8:45am PT / 11:45am ET
  • Microsoft’s long-awaited Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will take place starting at 10am PT / 1pm ET.
  • Fans can also look forward to special presentations from SQUARE ENIX, the PC Gaming Show and the Future Games Show.
  • Warner Bros. Games, Back 4 Blood and 24 Entertainment will also be featured.

 

 

• Monday, June 14, broadcast pre-show starts at 8:00am PT / 11:00am ET
  • Alongside press conferences from several indie developers, presentations from Take-Two Interactive, Mythical Games, Freedom Games, Razer and Capcom will take place throughout the day.
  • Verizon and Intellivision will also be featured, along with a session with VENN.

 

 

• Tuesday, June 15, broadcast pre-show starts at 8:00am PT / 11:00am ET
  • The last day of E3 will include Nintendo’s Nintendo Direct and Nintendo Treehouse: Live programming starting at 9am PT / 12pm ET.
  • BANDAI NAMCO, Yooreka Games and GameSpot will also have focused events.
  • The broadcast will round out with the Official E3 2021 Awards Show.

 

 

Fan Access
Registration begins today for fans around the globe to access the E3 online portal and app.  Beginning on Saturday, June 12, the portal will provide access to:

 

• Select Exhibitor Booths – Featuring special events, VOD content and articles, exhibitor booths will act as hubs within the portal for key announcements and game or product information tied to participating exhibitors (the full list of exhibitors with virtual booths can be found on the E3 website)
• Lounges – Online gathering spots for all E3 attendees
• Forums – Special boards for focused online discussion and sharing among attendees
• Leaderboards – Gamified elements that can be collected and displayed, encouraging fans to interact in as many ways as possible
• Profile Creation – All attendees can create and customize their own unique profiles

 

The online E3 2021 portal and app will also feature the E3 live broadcast, with interactive overlays that include viewer polls, featured tweets, and more.

 

Media, creators, industry professionals and fans are encouraged to visit the E3 2021 website for the most up-to-date information on exhibitors, schedules and more. In addition, there are detailed FAQs for media, industry and fans.

Gestern gabs ja scho einiges an Highlights bei der Summer Games Fest Vorführung. Da Souls-Games nichts für mich ist, hab ich mich gefreut über den neuen Publisher Prime Matter und was der so alles unter sich hat. Vor allem ein neues RTS Crossfire: Legion oder der neue Painkiller Ableger.

 

Hoffe wir sehen noch mehr an der Koch Media Präsentation, welche heute 11.06. um 21:00Uhr stattfinden soll.

Hat ganz stark ausgesehen. Bin kein grosser Fan des Franchises. Für Fans sicher ein Fest. Timed Exlclusive

Nichtssagender Trailer. Keine Ahnung was das sein soll.

Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase

 

Tolle Show mit vielen Games, welche auch direkt day 1 im GP landen. Freue mich extrem auf: 

- Halo Infinite (MP sah zum niederknien aus und anscheinen Free2Play-Multiplayer) 

- Battlefield 2042 (nur MP finde ich sehr sympathisch) 

- Forza Horizon 5 (in Mexiko mit freunden abdriften, das wird ein Fest) 

- A Plague Tale: Requiem (fand den Vorgänger genial, daher freue mich über einen zweiten Teil) 

- Stalker 2 

- Atomic Heart

- Back4Blood (koop wird das sowas von abgehen wie die vorgänger)

- Eiyuden Chronicle Rising (genau mein Ding) 

- Microsoft Flight Simulator (ab nach Schottland mit dem Flieger) 

- Replaced  / The Ascent 

 

Bin gespannt auf:

- Starfield

- The Outer Worlds 2

- Contraband

- Diablo 2 Resurrected (teil 2 nie gespielt) 

- Party Animals

- Psychonauts 2

- Shredders

 

Nicht mein Geschmack:

Was fehlte:

Überraschung: 

Yakuza: Like a Dragon: Das verrückte JRPG ist ab heute im Game Pass spielbar! Nice one MS! 

 

8.5/10 hat meinen Geschmack sehr gut getroffen, bin gespannt auf weiteres!

Bravo MS, das war eine wirklich gelungene PK – vor allem wenn man daran denkt, was sie alles NICHT gezeigt haben (Fable, Avowed, Perfect Dark, Hellblade 2...). 2022 wird absolut verrückt. Und das alles zum Preis von nicht mal 2 Vollpreisspielen pro Jahr dank Gamepass. An der Präsentation des Ganzen könnten sie aber noch arbeiten, einfach 90 Minuten einen Trailer an den anderen zu reihen, ohne sichtbare Gliederung oder Infos von den Devs, finde ich nicht so prickelnd.

 

Highlights:

• Forza Horizon 5
• Stalker 2  Wohl das Grafik-Highlight der Show
• Psychonauts 2 Ein Jump'n'Run mit ordentlich Budget dahinter, endlich!
• Replaced
• Somerville Einer der Macher von Limbo und Inside steckt dahinter 
• Battlefield 2042 Die Wetter-Ereignisse sehen bombastisch aus

 

Weiterhin gespannt auf:

• Halo Infinite Bin momentan nicht mehr ganz so hyped auf das Teil
• Age of Empires IV
• Atomic Heart Einfach so abgefahren, Bioshock auf russisch
• Far Cry 6

 

Neugierig auf:

• Contraband Abenteurer-Vibes, 1970-Setting, Co-Op – klingt sehr nice
• Sea of Thieves mit Jack Sparrow Story-Content tut dem super Gameplay-Gerüst immer gut

Ich hab mich ja gefragt, warum Everwild von Rare nicht gezeigt wurde... sodern nur das popelige Add-on für Sea of Thieves....

Er stützt sich auf Aussagen von mit den Umständen vertraute Personen. Dadurch könnte Everwild erst 2023 erscheinen - vielleicht sogar erst 2024, weil 2023 schon sehr viele Spiele für Xbox erscheinen und Microsoft die Veröffentlichung daher weiter nach hinten schieben könnte.
