Man hat sich nach der E3-Enthüllung für die Alpha anmelden können - weiss nicht, ob du jetzt noch einen bekommst. Gestern wurden die Mails verschickt mit der Bestätigung, dass man Zugang zur Closed Alpha enthält.

Die offene Beta startet am 18. November:

Steep Beta Begins November 10, Open Beta November 18

 

Steep’s open-world re-creation of the Alps lets you experience the thrills of snowboarding, paragliding, skiing, and wingsuiting down some of the world’s most famous slopes, and you’ll soon be able to experience those same thrills early with two upcoming Steep Beta phases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via download. The first phase – open to players who register by November 9 – officially begins November 10 and runs to November 14, while the second phase – open to all players – runs from November 18 to November 21. Pre-loading begins the day before each beta kicks off.

 

Both phases will include access to various challenges and nine of the game’s Mountain Stories (story-driven challenges) spread across three of the seven areas that will be featured in the final release, including Aravis, Tyrol, and Needles. Successfully completing challenges and Mountain Stories unlocks new gear that players can use to customize their thrill-seekers. Additionally, players will get to share their best lines with other Beta participants and have the option to experience every run in the first-person perspective with the GoPro View mode.

 

Steep is scheduled for release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on December 2. Registration for the first phase Beta can be found here.

Steep's Adrenaline Fueled Season Pass Content Unveiled

 

Today, Ubisoft revealed more information about the Season Pass content for Steep, the new action sports game set in the open world of the Alps. The Season Pass is made up of three themed content packs to keep players entertained both on the slopes and in the air.

 

Steep’s Season Pass will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC. It will be included in Steep’s Gold Edition. This digital version is available on the Uplay Shop across PC digital channels as well as on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

 

Three major content Packs included in the Season Pass will be released over the months following launch:

 

• Winter Fest Pack introduces the winter sled and puts players’ skills to the test with its new array of challenges. It will also offers fun new exclusive costumes.

 

• Extreme Pack adds three new exhilarating sports: rocket wings, base jumping and speed gliding. New exclusive costumes will also be part of the Extreme Pack.

 

• Adrenaline Pack includes the Moonlight Pack, featuring 3 unique night-time challenges and equipment packs for players to show off their style while shining in the dark, along with new costumes, new outfits, new boards and wingsuits.

 

Season Pass holders will have access to exclusive costumes including a very fetching snowman outfit, helicopter tickets to reach uncharted destinations quickly, and 10,000 Steep Credits at launch on December 2nd.

 

Each pack will be available for purchase on its own, and all packs can be purchased as part of the Season Pass.

 

Additionally, Steep will have two beta phases from November 10th to 14th and from November 18th to 21st on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC. Access for the November 18th Open Beta will be available via digital download on consoles and PC for all players wanting to explore Steep’s massive open-world.

 

These Beta phases will allow players to discover the diversity of Steep’s world by exploring, riding and completing dozens of challenges through three of the seven regions that compose Steep’s massive open world inspired by the Alps – the Aravis, the Tyrol and the Needles. Players will also find nine Mountain Stories – narrative-based contests that will delve deeper into unique moments in the world of Steep – throughout their journey. Completing these challenges and Mountain Stories will also unlock new gear for players to customise their characters.

 

Steep’s Standard and Gold Editions are now available for preorder.

 

Steep will be available on December 2nd on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Windows PC.

Passend zum Winterwetter kann ich heute Abend mal die virtuellen Pisten unsicher machen.

Hab mich gestern noch auf die Bretter geschwungen. Mir hats viel Spass gemacht, grafisch sah es schon mal top aus! Einfach die Fallschirmfliegerei wird wohl nichts für mich, ich hing mehr in den Bäumen als das ich in der Luft war. Auch positiv habe ich das Onlinefeature empfunden. Plötzlich hat es noch andere Fahrer die sich mit dir auf dem Berg tummeln, es kam so ein easy Gemeinschaftsgefühl auf.

Ich habe mehr ein Snowboard/Ski Spiel à la Amped erwartet.

 

Bis jetzt bietet mir die Beta zu wenig damit ich meine Vorbestellung bestätigen. Mal schauen wie es heute Abend aussieht.

Also nur Skins und Anzüge scheint's ned zu geben. Allerdings macht mich das Gebotene nicht gerade scharf auf den Season Pass oder die Gold Edition.
