This was the start of something special, and the franchise continued to reach new heights with the release of Jak 3 and Jak X, in part because of this one simple addition. By giving Jak a voice, it allowed Naughty Dog to explore new narrative techniques that allowed them to create a grittier world with a much more developed and evolved storyline. Jak and Daxter evolved from whimsical lighthearted platforming characters to a much darker vision of a future’s past world where Jak and Daxter find themselves pitted against multiple dark forces moving against them.   The narrative tropes Naughty Dog explored in Jak and Daxter laid the foundation for the evolution of their highly innovative story telling. It put them on the path that led to the creation of future blockbuster franchises like Uncharted and The Last of Us— and to think it all started with giving Jak his own voice. After multiple prototypes over the last 2 years, each of which were designed to mimic functional aspects of the PS2 Dashboard, we have been given the opportunity to combine multiple disparate elements into a single piece of theme software which mimics the sights, sounds, and functionality of the Playstation 2 Dashboard. Upon starting up, users are treated fully recreated 'boot' sequence. PlayStation 2 logo cannot be used due to licensing restrictions, so we have taken an opportunity to create a mid-boot 'Easter Egg,' which changes randomly with every login. From there, the "Seven Stars" make an appearance, coalescing from random points to recreate the mathematical and dynamic formations to accompany the passage of time, similarly recreated from the original PlayStation 2 bios in the form of the Crystal Clock. Color shifting is now controlled via user input, with subtle shifts in particle speed and behavior. Additionally, original audio has been taken from the PS2 hardware and recreated in the background ambience and custom keynotes for this theme.

 

Lastly, as is our standard, this theme has been designed for 1080p, 4k/UHD, and OLED displays.

Für 4.97 juckt's mich jetzt nicht wirklich. Aber ja.. Thematik und Spielgeschehen sind davon ja unbetroffen.

Bei Wolfenstein II hab' ich mir ja die E-Version geholt.

rats, wenn Du's für den Single Player kaufen möchtest, würde ich noch etwas länger warten, bis sie dir das Game für nen 10er nachschmeissen.

Das ist JEDES Mal so bei dieser Collection :lol:.. keine Ahnung, warum das nicht einfach dauerhaft auf 49.90 reduziert wird :ugly:.. die geht jedes Mal wieder auf 78.90 hoch, haha.

Gran Turismo Sport ist gerade Aktion im PSN für 30 Franken. Ist das was für einen Super Casual Spieler von Rennspielen. So in Hinblick auf die Einzelspieler expansion?

Da kann dir wohl noch niemand Auskunft geben, der neue Einzelspielermodus ist ja erst heute released worden.

...und wegen des Preises: So viel teurer wird eh das nicht mehr bzw. landet voraussichtlich in jedem Sale. Gabs ja auch schon mal für Fr. 22.-.
