Über die Sony PK war iwie noch nicht viel bekannt. Laut einem Podcast sieht es so aus:

Sony will host its E3 2018 presentation the Monday before E3 as usual, and it seems the firm is taking a different approach to the show this year.

The Sony E3 2018 presentation will take place on Monday, June 11 at 6pm PDT, 9pm EDT, 2am BST (June 12).

This is according to what Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shawn Layden said during the latest PlayStation Blogcast (thanks, Nibel).

Listening to the podcast, it doesn’t appear Sony’s presentation will feature the usual bombardment of announcements.

Instead, the firm has decided to “refresh and remake” its show. Layden said to expect “deep dives” into PS4-partner exclusives Death Stranding, and the highly anticipated Spider-Man. A look at how each partnership game is progressing will be provided, so expect plenty of new information and visual eye-candy.

Layden said the company will still spotlight first-party, in-house titles such as Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us Part 2. Like the aforementioned, expect a look at each game’s progress and a “better understanding” of where Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch are going with the title.

After the podcast went live, Sony updated its PlayStation Blogs with confirmation of dates, and the deep dives on Death Stranding, Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us Part 2.

“This year will feature exclusive looks and deep dives four of our big titles,” said Layden. “I think everyone will be thrilled to see it. We’re taking a different angle on how we’re bringing it out.”

 

Going by his comments, the focus seems to be on its partnerships on “the big four,” third-party developers and publishers, and Sony’s continued support for independent games.

“We’ll have some announcements with our third-party publishing partners, we’ll have some news things to talk about there, as well as our continued support for independent development – we’ll throw some highlight of that.”

This suggests we can expect some sort of announcement on exclusive deals along the likes of Activision titles Call of Duty and Destiny 2.

Don’t count out other titles though both first and third party. Days Gone will surely be on hand, hopefully a release date for Media Molecule’s Dreams will be provided, and the MediEvil Remaster could turn up – we hope.

It’s quite possible Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be shown, but Square Enix could very well be saving information on it for its own pre-recorded stream. It will be aired earlier that same day.

 

There are many more we could speculate on, but we don’t own a crystal ball, and if we did, we wouldn’t know how to use it properly.

If you want to give the PlayStation Blogcast on Soundcloud a listen, it’s just over 30 minutes long. Be prepared for quite a bit of chatter, though.

Spiel endli They Are Billions wiiter!

 

Metroid Prime 4 muss fast was kommen. Letztes Jahr gab es glaub nur das Projekt-Logo am Ende der Presentation. Seither iwie nichts gelesen.

Hoffe auf mehr von Octopath Traveler das danach glaub bald erscheint. Ob in 1-2 Jahren weiterhin Spiele wie Octopath oder Rabbits erscheinen? Man weiss es nicht..

 

 

 

Übrigens ist RAGE 2 angeblich beschlossene Sache. Das stellt den damaligen 'weird' Leak des kanadischen Onlineshops in ein anderes Licht, jener v.a. wegen solchen Spielen belächtelt wurde. Bei Forza Horizons 5 dachte ich ist eh Fake. Aber da falsch geschrieben evtl nur ein Tippfehler und sollte Horizon 4 heissen.

 

 

Wäre ja ein Ding wenn Borderlands und RAGE erneut gleichzeitig erscheinen. Bei RAGE drängte sich mir der Gedanke auf es hat unter dem Erfolg von Borderlands gelitten da sie sich auf den ersten Blick ähneln (Wüsten-Setting, Buggy mit Waffen, FPS,..)

Sah bei mir ähnlich aus, wobei vielleicht gebe ich dem Titel nochmals eine Chance  Heute sollen noch weitere Infos folgen, bin gespannt..

Snoop Dogg war letztes Jahr auch am EA Event am Zocken als Presse/VIP only war. Finde ich jetzt nicht ganz so unwahrscheinlich, dass er auf der Bühne kurz was präsentiert. ^^

Ja eben, auf dieser Liste ist vieles ZU wahrscheinlich. Alleine die Anzahl an Titeln dieser Liste ist zu wenig für eine Präsentation, zumal schon bekannt ist dass das neue Battlefield, Battlefield V heissen wird. FIFA wird z.B. nicht erwähnt und das kommt garantiert vor.

 

Zudem ist die Liste amateurhaft formatiert...usw.

Dying Light 2 soll in der Entwicklung sein - Enthüllung auf E3 2018?

Laut einem aktuellen Bericht arbeitet Techland momentan an "Dying Light 2". Die Enthüllung soll auf der E3 2018 stattfinden.

Das polnische Magazin Graczpospolita berichtet, dass Techland derzeit an "Dying Light 2" arbeitet. Diese Information soll von aktuellen und ehemaligen Entwicklern stammen. Die Redaktion bezieht sich also auf Insider-Quellen. Und ganz so unwahrscheinlich ist dieses Gerücht nicht, denn schliesslich war das erste "Dying Light" ein grosser Erfolg und es wird immer noch unterstützt.

Momentan konzentriert sich das Studio laut dem Bericht auf die Vorbereitung eines Trailers, der während der E3 2018 in Los Angeles gezeigt wird. Ausserdem soll der "Battle Royale"-Ansatz aus dem kommenden "Dying Light: Bad Blood" in "Dying Light 2" wahrscheinlich ausgebaut werden. "Dying Light: Bad Blood" soll quasi als Test dienen. Darüber hinaus soll Techland an einem weiteren grossen Projekt arbeiten, das jedoch nicht "Hellraid" ist.
