Persona 4 Golden, Neptunia Victory 'aiming' to hit Europe Feb 22, Mar 15

NIS America is aiming to bring Persona 4 Golden and Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory to Europe on February 22 and March 15 respectively. Though the official release windows for both remain Spring 2013, a PR representative for NIS America confirmed to Joystiq these are the dates being aimed for, and each game will be released "around that time." Official dates will be announced nearer the time, we're told.

Golden, the Persona 4 re-release on Vita, is unlikely to come to Europe in more than a standard release, according to the PR rep. In contrast, North America is getting the Solid Gold limited edition set when the game releases on November 20.

Regarding Victory, the third Hyperdimension Neptunia entry, North America has the same Spring 2013 official release window as Europe. We wouldn't be surprised if the North American date NIS has in mind for the PS3 game is in the same week.

Finally, we learned The Witch and the Hundred Knights "should" also be coming to Europe. The PS3-exclusive action RPG is confirmed as heading to North America, but following its delay in Japan there isn't an official release window for its arrival here. We were told we'd know whether or not it's coming to Europe when the NA release date is announced.

The game features the art style of Takehito Harada, of Disgaea and Phantom Brave fame, which can probably be deduced from the cover art alone. As for what's going on in that cover art, your guess is as good as ours.

Guuute Nachrichten, freu mich auf die Spiele. :circle:

Devil Survivor: Overclocked And Devil Survivor 2 Delayed To 2013 In Europe

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS) and Devil Survivor 2 (DS) may not see a European release until 2013, U.K. games publisher, Ghostlight, say on their official blog.

“I regret to report that it is looking increasingly likely that both Devil Survivor: Overclocked and Devil Survivor 2 will not be released until 2013,” Ghostlight’s Ross Brierley writes.

“This is incredibly disappointing as we were very much hoping to be able to release both titles this year, but sadly this has not been possible.”

On his Twitter feed, Brierley provides a little more insight on the subject.

“It’s not as simple as just putting our name on it and getting ratings,” Brierley tweeted to an inquiring fan. “There are different requirements which require coding changes and testing as well. In this case [Overclocked] was our first 3DS title and some aspects ended up taking longer than we expected.”

Regarding specific changes that need to be made, Brierley says that he is under a non-disclosure agreement, and so, is unable to share further details.

He also cautions on the Ghostlight blog: “It is worth noting that until we announce a release date, any dates you see for these games are unofficial and may be incorrect.”

Who Is The Protagonist In Shin Megami Tensei IV?

By Spencer . November 14, 2012 . 2:30pm

l_50a21fdfeaf3d.jpg

The short answer is you since you get to name the protagonist. Shin Megami Tensei IV is set in East Mikado, a country that draws from medieval Europe, but has samurai instead of knights. Shin Megami Tensei IV takes place in 1492 where East Mikado is protected by walls that cover that perimeter. Higher walls in the center of the city shield the castle and King Ahaziah Mikado.

Famitsu explains the protagonist is an 18-year-old male. He has a revelation in a dream that his choices will shape the world. When he wakes up he completes the Gauntlet Ritual and becomes a samurai. In Shin Megami Tensei IV, samurai hunt demons in secret. Only a few people know demons exist.

Issachar is your childhood friend and kind of acts like a big brother. He wanted to become a samurai his entire life and is with the protagonist during the Gauntlet Ritual. Hope is the leader of the samurai. He guides initiates like the protagonist and puts protecting the nation above everything else.

While your mission is to exterminate demons, Shin Megami Tensei IV gives players demon allies too. You can fuse demons and talk with them. Below, on the right, Nekomata is asking the protagonist to show his feelings. It looks like Atlus redesigned some demons for Shin Megami Tensei IV. Yomotsu-Shikome looks different compared to her Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne design.

Square Enix have shared the first screenshots of the Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden remake for the Nintendo 3DS. As previously reported, the game is being remade in full 3D and will also feature an orchestral score by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.

Take a look at the screenshots below. Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden will be released on February 7th, 2013 in Japan.

Digimon Adventure Lets You Make Choices During Event Scenes

New information on Digimon Adventure is out via V Jump magazine and a new trailer for the game. A subbed version of the trailer can be seen below (courtesy of the WiththeWill forums). Be warned that the trailer contains spoilers for the anime series! You can click the “CC” button for subtitles.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=s974t1oyLow

As previously reported, all of the old cast is back, and the entire anime will be covered—up to and presumably including the Our War Game movie. Voiced scenes are voiced by almost all the original voice actors and battles will be turn-based. Not all of the scenes are voiced, but judging by the trailer, it looks like the major ones will be. The original series’ director is also on board.

The trailer also indicates that you can modify the childrens’ partners’ stats through using equipment on a hexagon grid system. In addition, during the event scenes, you can choose responses. V Jump reports that what you choose will actually affect what happens in that episode. For example, one choice (presumably during the SkullGreymon episode) will result in Taichi and Agumon fighting together and another will result in the two separating. We’re currently unsure how these change of events will actually affect the outcome of the story.

There are also sub-quests that you can accept, and during these, two of the children (and their Digimon) may strike up a conversation. These conversations will deepen the bond between the characters. The dialogue and scenes will be original to the PSP game. It is currently unknown how the bonds will affect gameplay.

More information has also been released on the special episode that results in Taichi being tossed into a green-and-black matrix dungeon with the rest of the series’ Goggle Heads (and honorary Goggle Heads). In celebration of the series’ 15th Anniversary, a new Royal Knight has finally been revealed—Gankuumon.

Gankuumon is a Digimon admired by many who has been wandering through the Digital World. He is currently training his heir, the one who will inherit his name, Hackmon. Hackmon is a Beast Digimon who is also a descendent of Gankuumon and possesses extraordinary battle skills. In the dimension between worlds, Taichi and the others are trying to find Gankuumon, who holds the key to getting out of the dungeon.

Finally, V Jump also confirms that the previously reported limited edition pre-order Digivice ver. Portable is indeed a Digivice V-Pet on your PSP. The download code is included in the box. Digimon Adventure will be released Jan. 17, 2013 in Japan.

Ghost in the Shell, Power Stone (ja, ich weiss ist DC), Digimon, Record of Lodos War, Yu gi Oh.

Geschrieben
