Ich habe jedenfalls nachwievor sehr viel Spass damit. Für den Star Wars-Fan, der zwischendurch ein wenig in bombastischer Umgebung und toller Fanatmosphäre ballern will, gibt es nichts Besseres.

Mir gefallen auch die meisten Modi sehr gut, ich denke, da hat DICE ein sehr gutes Fundament gelegt.

The latest Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, opens up this weekend in most parts of the world, and EA is making sure you don’t return home to play anything but Battlefront.

 

To celebrate the release of the movie, you’ll be earning double XP in Star Wars Battlefront, on all platforms throughout the weekend. Because the game turns your earned score into credits, this means you’ll also be getting double the usual amount, which you spend on Star Cards or Traits, and emotes.

 

The event starts today, December 18 at 1am PT through Monday, December 21 at 1am PT.

 

Battlefront recently received the Battle of Jakku DLC for free, which is set 29 years before the events of the new movie.

Ich habe es mir am Samstag auch gekauft und am Sonntag lange gespielt. Bin nun mittlerweile Level 27 (danke Double-XP-Wochenende ) und spiele hauptsächlich Heroes vs. Villains. Für allfällige LG-Runden wäre ich auch dabei.

EA has announced upcoming content to be included in the Season Pass for Star Wars: Battlefront as well as free content .

 

All players will get free content that includes new maps for both multiplayer and Missions modes, the introduction of Private Matches, new Hero outfits, and more.

 

The aforementioned free content is being added to the game tomorrow and includes the following:

 

• The Tatooine Survival map will now support the Blast, Droid Run, Drop Zone, Hero Hunt, and Heroes vs Villains multiplayer modes, and is called Raider Camp.
  
• New Hoth-themed outfits for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, both of which will be available to all fans when they play as these two iconic characters on the Hoth – these were unlocked by our players for completing our Heroes’ Holiday community mission last month.
  
• Create Private Matches
  
• Daily Challenges and Community Events. These are designed to rally the Community around certain goals and objectives, giving players the chance to earn credits and unlocks even faster. We’ll have more news regarding Community Events and Daily Challenges in the days ahead.
  
• Overall balancing tweaks to both weapons and multiplayer modes.
  

 

In February, more free content will be added for players. This includes a new Survival mission on Hoth, and a new Hoth multiplayer map supporting larger game modes. These modes include Walker Assault, Supremacy, Fighter Squadron and Turning Point.

 

Turning Point will also be made available on all maps that currently support Walker Assault and Supremacy once the February update rolls out.

 

In March, a new multiplayer map on Endor supporting Walker Assault, Supremacy, and Turning Point releases. An additional Tatooine Survival map will be included.

 

Season Pass holders can expect more maps and modes, Heroes, weapons and other goodies throughout the year.

 

Here’s the list of each digital expansion pack included along with a few details:

• Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim (March 2016) – Fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tatooine
  
• Star Wars Battlefront Bespin (Summer 2016) – It’s hunt or be hunted in this experience set in the Cloud City of Bespin
  
• Star Wars Battlefront Death Star (Autumn 2016) – That’s no moon.
  
• Star Wars Battlefront Expansion Pack 4 – Title TBA (Early 2017) – More details to be shared on the expansion pack to be revealed in the coming months.
  

 

Each digital expansion pack will also be available separately.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 to feature content “from the new movies”

During EA’s fourth quarter call to investors briefing last night, the publisher confirmed that a new Battlefront title is in development for release in 2017.

 

Though very little details were shared, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen did confirm that the sequel will have “bigger and better worlds.” Another interesting tidbit shared by Jorgensen is the fact that the game will also feature content “from the new movies.”

 

The CFO did not elaborate what he meant with “the new movies,” though it’s not hard to imagine he was referring to the Episode 7 and beyond.

 

Last year’s Battlefront was only limited to the original trilogy, something that disappointed many fans. Though the game did get a map set in Jakku, a new planet that debuted with The Force Awakens, it mostly stuck to original trilogy content.

 

Battlefront 2 is due for release sometime in 2017.

In Sachen Content- und Balancing-Updates müssen sie beim Nachfolger dann sehr viel besser werden als beim Erstling. Das Fundament für ein grossartiges Spiel hat DICE geschaffen, leider wurde es sehr stiefmütterlich behandelt seit dem Release.

In der Beta hat's noch so viel Spass gemacht, aber mit der Zeit merkt man, wie scheiss casual und oberflächlich fas Gameplay ist. Schade haben sie da nicht mehr Battlefield reingepackt.....

 

Es sähe echt geil aus und das Star Wars feeling bringen sie auch geil rüber...

Den Season Pass bei Battlefron 1 habe ich nie gekauft. Ich kaufe in der Regel keine Season Passes zu Nicht-Soulsborne-Games

Es ist ein reiner MP Titel. Jedoch gibt es eine Art Horde-Modus den man zusammen bestreiten kann...
