Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition Coming to PC

HD war gestern. Jetzt sind Definite, Ultimate und garantiert irgendwann 4k Editions angesagt :ming:

Damit hätte ich jetzt niemals gerechnet...oh man, wie mich das Spiel damals umgehauen hat! Neben Metroid Prime das beste Gamecube Spiel wenn ihr mich fragt.

Wird gekauft...mal schauen ob es 9 Jahre später immer noch so überzeugend ist.

Ultimate Edition of Resident Evil 4 Coming to PC

Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced the ultimate HD edition of Resident Evil 4 for PC digital download on Steam globally and available as a retail version for Windows PC in Europe. PC gamers will be able to play the groundbreaking survival horror masterpiece in the highest visual fidelity ever with stunning HD running at a smooth 60 frames per second for the first time. Resident Evil 4 will be available from February 28, 2014 for EUR19.99/$19.99.

Resident Evil 4 received numerous "Game of the Year" awards when it debuted and currently stands as one of the best-reviewed games of all time with an incredible 96 ranking on MetaCritic. A complete visual overhaul has been performed to bring this revered title to the highest graphical quality ever. Fully optimized for the wide screen, texts have been sharpened and textures have been upgraded on characters, backgrounds and in-game objects.

In Resident Evil 4, special agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent on a mission to rescue the U.S. President's daughter who has been kidnapped. Finding his way to a rural village in Europe, he faces new threats that are a departure from the traditional lumbering zombie enemies of the earlier installments in the series. Leon battles horrific new creatures infested by a new threat called Las Plagas and faces off against an aggressive group of enemies including mind-controlled villagers that are tied to Los Illuminados, the mysterious cult which is behind the abduction.

To complement the exciting new direction, the game introduced a modernized control scheme, rear third person view and gameplay mechanics which have blazed the trail for subsequent action titles.

Für PC gab es doch bereits stark aufbereitete Textur-Mods von der Community (?). Da das Spiel für zwei Sticks ausgelegt ist würde ich vorher noch den RE4-Download auf Konsole bervorzugen.

GameCube, PS2, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, (PC), nochmals PC... handelt es sich hier möglicherweise um das am meisten geportete Spiel der letzten Jahre? Holy Shit :lol:

Ich hatte nachdem ich Wiimote/Nunchuk geholt habe auch schon mit der Wii-Variante geliebäugelt :ugly: .

Die anderen Wii-makes scheint es nicht mehr im Angebot zu geben :okay: . RE1 RE-RE-make ( :coolface: ) hätte ich mir glaub noch gegeben. Oder Zero, das ich gar nicht kenne.

Werde es eher nicht mehr holen. Bei RE4 hab ich ein Problem mit den saublöden Sektenleuten und Insektenköpfen.. Need Zombies.

FUCK IT Capcom - keinen Rappen investiere ich mehr in Resident Evil 4. Und wenn's ne Gigaton-Ultra-Hi-Def-Megaton-Transformers-Edition von RE4 geben wird - NEIN!

King will Stoic verklagen

King, die Deppen hinter F2P-Casual-Kacke wie Candy Crush Saga, haben sich kürzlich die Namensrechte am Wort Candy sichern lassen. Nun wie's scheint auch am Wort Saga. Und wem könnte man damit am besten ans Bein pissen? Natürlich, einer Firma, die gerade nicht zu verachtende Erfolge hat, nämlich Stoic mit The Banner Saga. Anwälte, das Kreuz unserer Gesellschaft (sorry Killu :ugly: ).

Namensrechte am Wort "Saga" .... ich bitte euch :lol: ... das ginge wohl höchstens in einer bestimmten Wortkombination, aber sicher nicht so. Zumal es schon so viele Spiele mit diesem Wort im Titel gibt.

Sag das nicht zu früh, wir sprechen hier von US-Gerichten, wo man selbst so was wie abgerundete Kanten patentieren kann :ugly: Und das Markenrecht am Wort Candy haben sie anscheinend schon. Zumindest wurden schon unzählige Apps (die inhaltlich in keinster Weise mit ihrer Match Three Kacke in Verbindung stehen), von ihren Anwälten angeschrieben, nur wegen des Wortes Candy :ugly: Aber irgendwie muss man ja Geld machen, wenn's nicht mit dem eigenen Produkt geht, dann eben mit der Arbeit anderer :lamy:
