It's odd to see something like emotes - which only hardcore fans will really care about - being held back for a version of the game that also requires the purchase (or re-purchase) of the base game and its two add-ons.

 

Eurogamer: So it may seem like a small thing but you're adding exclusive content to the game - three new dance emotes - that players can't get unless they rebuy the main game and the two existing DLCs. Is that right?

 

Luke Smith: There is no way right now for you to get the new dance emotes without doing that. Those are Collector's Edition exclusive. We've set some stuff aside for that edition specifically to really make it appeal to fans who have engaged with the game already and also to people that will enter the game this autumn.

Eurogamer: Can you see that some fans are confused that you're asking them to buy stuff they already own?

 

Luke Smith: Yeah, I can totally empathise with those people. But the Collector's Edition is a pretty cool package for people who want to pursue that stuff. Otherwise, surely what you're saying is that you would want to buy them separately, right?

Die Collector's Edition enthält das Grundspiel, die beiden DLCs und das Add-On + die Goodies....Preis finde ich berechtigt...

 

Das Add-On selbst kostet 40$, ob da der Preis berechtigt ist, kann man erst sagen wenn man es gespielt hat

 

Finde es aber auch ganz nieder, wie hier die "Veteranen" behandelt werden...wieso kann man die Emotes nicht auch einfach in das Add-On selbst reinpacken? Cashtivision halt...

Ich als Warlock habe schon ein paar Exotics und lila Gears für andere Klassen ergattern können, die ich nicht brauchen kann. Wäre doch flott, wenn ich sie wenigstens innerhalb der Freundesliste mit jemandem von euch tauschen könnte, der vielleicht Warlockzeug bekommt, was er nicht braucht

While we knew it was coming after Red Bull accidentally confirmed Destiny's The Taken King, the energy drink company has hit go on its official site, revealing an exclusive Taken King quest. The "epic, new quest" is a "never-before-seen, multistage mission in The Taken King that will test the speed and strategic abilities of Destiny players in new ways."

 

The quest will be exclusive to Red Bull via an access code under the tab of promotional cans that can be entered on the site and requires The Taken King to be able to play. Drinkers will also get a one time consumable Bonus XP buff that will increase XP gain by 50% for 30 minutes and each marked can of caffeine will include a code. The XP boost will be available from the 1st of July, while the quest will be launching with the Taken King on September the 15th.

 

Bungie says it's "comfortable" with the price tag of Destiny The Taken King this week after it was revealed that the expansion will cost $40, but fans don't feel quite the same way. This exclusive quest for Red Bull drinkers isn't going to help matters if this multi-stage mission is a significant extra. While the quest will only be exclusive until January 1st 2016 there's no word on Red Bull promotions outside of the US.

Schon klar, finde es einfach lustig, wie das HoW-DLC doch noch einiges gut gemacht hat, aber keiner von euch darüber schreibt...ach wait...ihr spielt das ja nicht und könnt halt nur auf Negativ-News rumreiten

 

Wenn Ihr einfach mal regelmässiger mit uns Destiny gezockt und den Raid miterlebt hättet, würdet ihr schon verstehen, wieso Destiny trotz allen Flaws doch sehr spassig ist. Es ist halt einfach so, dass wenn man Destiny alleine zockt, es einem nach einer Weile verleidet. Destiny ist halt nicht als Single-Player Game gedacht und ist dementsprechend auch eher auf MP Content getrimmt (Raids, Strikes, PvP).

 

Ich würde liebend gerne dich und Ushan mal mit in den Raid nehmen, der Grind ist nicht mehr so krass und man könnte euch beide in kurzer Zeit auf das benötigte Level hochziehen
