Vorläufig eher nicht. Ich habe mir diese Woche noch die fehlenden Capcom-Spiele für das SNES geholt, denke das reicht mir vorerst. Vielleicht mal wenn es günstig wird.

X4-6 konnte ich nur vereinzelt spielen und möchte die gern nachholen. Die letzten danach sehen sehr hässlich aus

 

Iwie reizt mich noch die Street Fighter Collection. Vielleicht mal in einem Sale für Alpha 1-3.

Bin halt nicht so der riesen Mega Man-Fan. Finde Capcom hätte da viele Marken, die weitaus mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient hätten aus der alten Zeit.

PUBG developer suing Epic Games over similarities between its game and Fortnite Battle Royale

PUBG Corp.’s has filed a copyright violation lawsuit against Epic Games over copyright infringement in Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode.

More specifically, PUBG Corp. is asking the the Seoul Central District Court, where the suit was filed, to rule whether or not the similarities between PUBG and Fortnite Battle Royale constitute copyright infringement.

Korean Times reports that the suit was filed in January, but PUBG Corp.’s issue with Epic and Fortnite goes back to September last year, when the developer publicly stated that it has concerns about the then-recent release of Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode.

At the time, PUBG Corp. said that it’s considering taking legal action against Epic, and later clarified that this isn’t so much about battle royale mechanics and UI similarities between the two games, but more because PUBG is based on Unreal Engine, and the developer feared Epic – now a competitor – would hold back engine upgrades to benefit its own game.

 

However, last month, PUBG Corp. took the maker of Knives Out, and Rules of Survival, NetEase, to court over a long list of similarities between its mobile games and PUBG. The case filings went as far as calling out things like the frying pan and other elements which it said were unique to PUBG.

As the site notes, the timing of this lawsuit is interesting as Epic is preparing to launch Fortnite in cybercafes around Korea, after signing an agreement with Korean publisher Neowiz Games.

There is no question about PUBG’s waning popularity in the West, and the developer likely sees Fortnite’s success as a big part of that. That said, cases of infringement of gameplay mechanics typically don’t go anywhere, at least in the US, so it’ll be interesting to see whether this one will be setting a precedent.

 

Kann mir vorstellen Publisher gehen noch öfter vor Gericht. Im diesem Fall ist es halt interessant da Fortnite über Zeit PUBG ein wenig den Schneid abgekauft hat.

Walmart (ja, schon wieder) hat jetzt "Team Sonic Racing" geleakt, wahrscheinlich kurz vor der offiziellen Ankündigung durch SEGA. Bisher wird nur eine Switch-Version gelistet, aber man darf davon ausgehen, dass der PC, die Xbox One und die PlayStation 4 ebenfalls versorgt werden. Der Termin ist mit dem 31. Dezember 2018 eindeutig ein Platzhalter.

Die Beschreibung: "Team Sonic Racing kombiniert die besten Elemente aus Arcade und rasantem Wettkampfstil, während du dich mit Freunden in intensiven Mehrspieler-Rennen messen kannst. Fahre zusammen und arbeite als Team, indem du Power-Ups und Geschwindigkeitsschübe teilst. Ich würd mal sagen, du verwechselst Teil 2 mit 1. 1 war ja noch nicht so gut. Teil 2 Transformed war schon bedeutend besser.

 

Freu mich aufjedenfall auch drauf.

Transformed gefiel mir sehr gut und wenn es ähnlich wird würde ich es mir holen.

The next Assassin’s Creed is called Odyssey and will take place in ancient Greece, according to a new report from the French site JeuxVideoLive, which adds that Odyssey is a sequel to last year’s Assassin’s Creed Origins. Kotaku can confirm this report.

Rumors about the next Assassin’s Creed have been circulating for months now—some real, some fake—but the one we’ve been hearing since January from our own sources is that the game is indeed set in Greece, and that it’ll be even more of a drastic departure for the series than Origins. We’ve heard the same details from three people who have played the game, and several more who have heard about it secondhand. While Origins added Witcher-like RPG elements, Odyssey will take things even further, those people said, bringing dialogue options to the series for the first time. You’ll be able to play as either a male or a female protagonist, although the builds we’ve heard about did not feature Origins’ main characters Bayek or Aya, but new heroes.

Two of those sources confirmed that Odyssey will be out during Ubisoft’s 2019 fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2019. Although the previously-annualized series had skipped 2016 in the wake of 2014's disappointing Assassin’s Creed: Unity, it’s likely that this one will be out this fall, returning to the yearly schedule for which the popular franchise has long been known.

Ubisoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment. We’re expecting to see more at E3. A tipster also sent Kotaku their own shots of the key chain, which is arriving at gaming stores across the world today.
